Horseback Riding Lessons South Shore Boston

Hidden Hollow Farm offers a variety of riding lessons from Learn to Ride for Beginners Programs to continuing development of rider’s skills on the flat, jumping and basic dressage.
All lessons are on our well trained, gentle and safe show horses and ponies.
There is a 100’ x 200’ sand jumping arena for our Balanced Hunt Seat Students and a Small Regulation Dressage Arena for students wanting to learn and perfect their Dressage.
In addition there are 2 miles of trails, and a large field for riding and jumping where students can further develop their Cross Country skills.

1 Hour Private: $75 
Grooming, leading, working on balance, stopping, steering. Advanced Students can work on their equitation skills.


1/2 Hour Private: $65  (M-F)


1 Hour Semi-Private: $75
Students work at their level of proficiency.


Pre School Unicorn 1/2 Hour Lesson: $50  (M-F before 3:00)
Children 7 years old and under


Birthday Unicorn Experience $100
A special lesson for the Birthday girl/boy with Unicorn Pony or Western Pony. Grooming, sparkling, ribbons, and pony treats to finish.


8 Week Packages: $575 (1 day trial $85)
1 lesson per week, expires in 8 weeks

Saturday Horseplay from 10am to 12pm
Fun with horses, learning to tack up, ride, games on horseback.
Ages 6 and up

Adults and Children will learn all aspects of horsemanship including:
• proper and safe way to lead a horse/pony
• horse anatomy and grooming
• learn the parts of the saddle and how to put it on
• learn the parts of the bridle and how to put it on
• proper and safe way to mount a horse
• basic Centered Riding skills: steering, stopping, balance
• bathing the horse/pony
• proper and safe way to blanket a horse
• feeding options
